Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our stores. You will work under a preceptor to follow a structured training roadmap, support pharmacy operations, ensure safe and accurate dispensing, and deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

You will gain hands-on experience, participate in SOPs, and learn store, district, and regional operations while developing readiness for a Pharmacist

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist and assist with immunizations.
• Assist with telephonic prescriptions, clarify prescriptions with prescribers when allowed by state regulation.
• Support inventory activities and contribute to a high-performing team with flexible scheduling.
