Job summary

CVS Health is offering a third-year Pharmacy Intern program in our retail pharmacy locations. You will apply didactic training to real-world practice, work under a preceptor, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while supporting the pharmacy team in safety, accuracy, and patient care.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, adherence to SOPs, and development toward Pharmacist responsibilities, with opportunities to participate in immunizations and expanded patient

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited College or School of Pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to training and SOPs at each workstation.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and patient interactions.
• Provide immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
• Counsel patients and gather pertinent medical information under supervision.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory and scheduling as needed.
• Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and commitment to patient safety.
