Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program in the United States. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, follow a 120‑day training roadmap, and work under a licensed pharmacist to support store pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will assist with safe prescription fulfillment, immunizations where allowed, and contribute to a high‑performing team while advancing toward a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task for a period of time, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure prescription label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with empathy and care, support pharmacy team
• Communication Skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply and counts for prescriptions
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting, reaching, and visual requirements
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager

Education

PharmD degree from a U.S. accredited program

Pharmacist licensure eligibility (within required timeframe)

Intern/Technician licensure in process or required
