Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and complete a 120-day training roadmap under a preceptor. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service.

This role requires a PharmD from a U.S. program and eligibility to obtain state licensure, with intern/technician licensure as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Learn and follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow at each workstation.
• Participate in immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law.
• Provide counseling and support to patients under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
