Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real‑world pharmacy settings within CVS Health stores. You will work under a preceptor to complete a 120‑day training roadmap, deepen knowledge of patient safety, DUR, and professional standards, and support immunizations and other services.

You will assist the pharmacy team in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, learn to navigate regulatory requirements, and develop leadership and communication

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in patient interactions, providing counseling when appropriate.
• Follow SOPs and best practices to maintain quality and safety in all workflow steps.
