Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn and support the pharmacist and team in delivering exceptional patient experiences. The role involves using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processing prescriptions, under supervision.

You will engage customers, develop relationships, and contribute to policy adherence, accuracy, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assists pharmacist and pharmacy team in entering, third party processing, filling and dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and follow company policies for dispensing.
• Support inventory management and ensure pharmacy area is stocked and orderly.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy policies and customer service best practices.
