Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and inventory management. You will work under supervision to provide high-quality care, help patients, and learn clinical services and MTM opportunities.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program with a state intern license, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate reliability, confidentiality, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
Neat and legible handwriting; strong organizational abilities.
Team-oriented mindset; dependable and timely.
Understanding of patient confidentiality and data security.
Knowledge of third party billing and MTM processes; willingness to learn immunizations.

Responsibilities

Customer service to patients in person and by phone.
Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Assist with product selection and price inquiries.
Utilize pharmacy computer system for data entry, adjudication, and inventory management.
Manage inventory, balance on hand, and supplier orders.
Support clinical services and MTM offerings under supervision.
