Job summary

Responsibilities include using the pharmacy system, inventory control, and performing MTM-related tasks as trained. Enrollment in a pharmacy program and a state intern license are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat, legible penmanship and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work as part of a team.
• Timeliness, dependability, and patient confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service.
• Communicate with patients in person and via telephone; assist with product selection; obtain medication prices.
• Process and fill prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third party adjudication; pull products from shelf; label prescriptions.
• Perform third-party functions.
• Inventory management.
• Update balance on hand; product ordering; Meijer codes; receive and store orders; process vendor charge backs/transfers.
• Provide clinical services.
