Walgreens in Michigan (Prudenville area) is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication counseling, verify prescriptions, and ensure safe dispensing in compliance with regulations and store policies.

You will support pharmacy operations, perform immunizations and preventive care services, and engage customers to deliver outstanding service while collaborating with the pharmacy team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain Pharm D before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Counsels patients and answers questions on usage, side effects, interactions, generics, and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Maintains compliance with regulations and company policies; supports workflow and shift changes.
• Ensures Good Faith Dispensing per state and federal laws when filling prescriptions.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements for productivity.
• Processes insurance claims and collaborates with providers to prevent payment issues.
• Provides immunizations and preventive healthcare services to customers.
• Builds relationships with local medical professionals and participates in community outreach.
• Works with Central Pharmacy Operations for issues and virtual product reviews.
