Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and generics; refers to provider when needed.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies; assists manager with procedures and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
