Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, company policies and standards; assists with opening/closing and shift changes.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems to support customers and staff; proposes enhancements to systems.
• Reviews insurance claims and coordinates with providers to resolve issues.
