Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a part time Pharmacy Information Systems Coordinator to join the MercyOne Family in Dubuque, Iowa. This role will focus on coordinating pharmacy information technology and enhancing efficiencies within the pharmacy department.

Qualifications

• AA degree in computer technology preferred - pharmacy experience is desired.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the hospital's interface with pharmacy information technology.
• Serve as a resource for staff members to develop efficiencies related to technology.
• Act as a representative for MMC Dubuque to Trinity Health Corporate regarding information technology needs.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the hospital's interface with pharmacy information technology, both within and outside of the pharmacy department
• Serve as a resource for staff members and is responsible for working with the department to develop and implement efficiencies related to technology
• Serve as a representative for MMC Dubuque to Trinity Health Corporate regarding information technology needs and functionality

Schedule:

• 24 hours per week

General Requirements:

• AA degree in computer technology preferred - pharmacy experience is desired
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter
• Information systems/PC knowledge and experience required
• Pharmacy technical experience preferred
