The role leads a staff, works with Pharmacy Director to set goals, and emphasizes staff development, customer service, and meeting patient needs. Bachelor's in Pharmacy required, PharmD/MS preferred; Iowa Pharmacist in Charge registration; 5 years hospital pharmacy leadership; strong MS Office skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D or MS in Hospital Pharmacy preferred.
• Registered Pharmacist in Iowa or eligible for registration.
• 5 years hospital pharmacy experience with leadership preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

As an Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor at MercyOne, you will:

• Be responsible for the 24-hour operation of the Inpatient Pharmacy Department
• Be responsible for achieving established quality and financial budget outcomes
• Select, develop, and maintain a team of competent staff
• Hold self and team accountable for achieving the highest level of quality of care, customer service, and employee satisfaction, and recognizes the contribution for desired results
• Driven to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Assist the Pharmacy Director in setting the long- and short-range goals of the Pharmacy based on developments and trends in an institutional pharmacy practice and the specific needs of the institution and its patients

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Rotating shifts
• Rotating weekends
• Rotating holidays

General Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacyrequired. Advanced education such as Pharm.D. Degree or Master of Science degree in Hospital Pharmacy with equivalent curriculum preferred.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training isrequiredwithin 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter.
• Registerswith the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)and assures thatall aspects of that responsibility are followed.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Iowa in good standing or eligible for registration.
• 5years experiencein hospital pharmacy with experience in administration, supervision or other leadership or management role preferred.
• High levelofproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) andInternet.
