Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a Pharmacy Information Systems Coordinator to support the hospital’s pharmacy IT interface and drive technology-enabled efficiencies. The role collaborates across the pharmacy and information systems teams to implement improvements while representing MMC Dubuque to Trinity Health Corporate.

Requires AA degree in computer technology (pharmacy experience helpful) and CPhT certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).

Qualifications

• AA degree in computer technology preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training within 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter.
• Information systems/PC knowledge and experience required.
• Pharmacy technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the hospital’s interface with pharmacy information technology, both within and outside of the pharmacy department.
• Serve as a resource for staff members and work with the department to develop and implement efficiencies related to technology.
• Serve as a representative for MMC Dubuque to Trinity Health Corporate regarding information technology needs and functionality.

As a Pharmacy Information Systems Coordinator at MercyOne, you will:

• Coordinate the hospital’s interface with pharmacy information technology, both within and outside of the pharmacy department

Schedule:

• 24 hours per week
