Job summary
The Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Clinical Integration Pharmacist to support system-wide smart infusion pump integration with Epic CPOE. You will ensure alignment between the smart pump drug library and Epic order workflows, perform clinical validation, and maintain safe medication administration processes.

Qualifications
- PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree.
- Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification required.
- Active pharmacist license with NY registration within 3 months of hire.
- Experience with medication safety, infusion therapy or IV medication management.
- Knowledge of inpatient clinical workflows and pump integration.
- Build, maintain, and update smart pump libraries.
Responsibilities
- Lead validation of smart pump libraries against Epic order screens.
- Review pump library parameters and dosing configurations.
- Ensure consistency between pump entries and Epic orders and instructions.
- Perform testing and validation prior to go-live.
- Collaborate with pharmacy informatics to resolve discrepancies.
- Participate in end-to-end integration testing.
- Develop validation documentation and staff education materials.
- Provide SME input during system testing and post-implementation optimization.
- Review controlled substance pump activity and ensure compliance.
