Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Pharmacy Hub Operations to design, launch and lead the hub operating model across patient access and clinical services.

You will drive end-to-end workflows, staffing, and governance for a scalable hub, partnering with multiple functions and external vendors. The role requires hands-on launch leadership, disciplined performance management, and the ability to build compliant, high-performing teams within a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, or related clinical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Active pharmacist or RN license in good standing.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience in complex healthcare operations.
• Experience with benefits verification, prior authorization, appeals, patient assistance, enrollment, or reimbursement workflows.
• Experience launching or transforming an operational function or healthcare workflow.

Responsibilities

• Launch and lead the pharmacy hub operating model across Access and Clinical Operations.
• Establish staffing, workflows, and governance for a scalable hub.
• Oversee intake, enrollment, verification, prior authorization, and patient assistance processes.
• Ensure licensure, credentialing, supervision, and scope-of-practice controls.
• Provide executive updates on readiness, capacity, performance, and risks.
