Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky is hiring a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Lexington, KY to support dispensing operations for a growing long-term care pharmacy service. Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill prescriptions, label packaging, and keep inventory organized in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a pharmacy tech license/registration per state rules, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience and/or technical skills in a pharmacy setting.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels and keep area neat and organized.
• May assist in physical inventory and ensure accuracy and productivity targets are met.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to maintain smooth workflow.
