Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 2+ years related experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system accurately.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond promptly to needs.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices for refills as needed.
• Develop proficiency with all pharmacy systems and tools.
