Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Lexington, KY to join our fast-paced fulfillment team. You will verify orders, pull prescriptions from inventory, label packaging, and ensure accurate, timely processing of medication orders.

This role requires a Pharmacy Technician license/certification (state requirements) and at least 1 year of related experience. Competitive pay, on-the-job training, and a family-oriented environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as required by state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience; basic computer skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Maintain inventory and assist with physical inventory as needed, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to dispensing of prescription medications.
