Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to join our growing team. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions accurately for delivery to customers.

We offer on-the-job training, a family atmosphere, and competitive pay. Hours are Monday–Friday 9 am–6 pm and Saturday 9 am–1 pm with some schedule flexibility. This position supports care for seniors in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins in an accurate and timely manner.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Maintain inventory at appropriate levels and assist in physical inventory.
• Meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws pertaining to dispensing medications.
