Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to accurately fill and package prescriptions for delivery to customers. You will verify information, label packaging, assist with inventory, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace while meeting accuracy and productivity goals in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience; technical skills may substitute for experience.
• Basic computer skills required and ability to work to deadlines.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification must be in state requirements; PTCB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Assist in training and development to gain proficiency in other fulfillment areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply to complete all orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and clean, orderly workstation; assist with physical inventory as needed.
• Meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels and collaborate across teams.
