Job summary

Ro in Romeoville, Illinois is seeking a Fulfillment Supervisor to oversee the pharmacy fulfillment team, mentor technicians, and ensure accurate, timely medication processing with adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

You will work with pharmacy leadership to optimize workflows, operate pharmacy automation equipment, and maintain an inspection-ready workspace while supporting cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) within defined timeframe
• Minimum of 2 years of people management experience in an operations, fulfillment, manufacturing, warehouse, or other high‑volume environment
• Experience conducting performance evaluations, coaching employees, and managing daily performance within the operation
• Excellent organizational skills and sharp attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and compliance
• Comfort working with pharmacy automation equipment and technology‑driven workflows

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians with hands‑on coaching, real‑time feedback, and performance support
• Oversee technician onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development to ensure compliance with SOPs and operational excellence
• Support scheduling and staffing needs to ensure appropriate shift coverage and workflow continuity
• Ensure pharmacy fulfillment workflows—including picking, packing, and shipping—are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established timelines
• Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational issues on the floor, escalating concerns to pharmacy leadership as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and cross‑functional teams including operations, care, and product to resolve order and shipping issues promptly
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation equipment, ensuring it functions properly to support order volume
• Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the fulfillment process, and drive adherence to all applicable standards and procedures
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in workflow evaluations and helping implement operational enhancements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready workspace aligned with company policies and regulatory expectations
• Flexibly support fulfillment operations by assisting with order processing and technician duties as needed to meet volume demands
• Support additional operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned by pharmacy leadership
