Ro in Romeoville, Illinois, is looking for a Lead Pharmacy Technician to oversee the pharmacy fulfillment team, provide hands-on leadership, and ensure accurate and timely medication fulfillment with a focus on quality and safety.

You will work with pharmacy automation equipment, drive process improvements, and collaborate with pharmacists and cross-functional teams to maintain inspection readiness and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and high school diploma.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience with leadership or supervision preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians with coaching and performance support.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and adherence to SOPs and compliance.
• Support scheduling and staffing for shift coverage and workflow continuity.
• Ensure accurate, efficient picking, packing, and shipping per timelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation equipment to support order volume.
• Monitor quality and regulatory compliance throughout fulfillment processes.
• Drive continuous improvement through workflow evaluations and operational enhancements.
