Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Business Analyst, Experience to support the Pharmacy Finance Support team. You will validate payments, coordinate approvals, research discrepancies, and maintain documentation within a hybrid in-office setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of pharmacy benefit claims, and strong Excel skills to ensure financial controls and timely payments across the pharmacy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience
• At least 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefit claims and pharmacy operations
• Experience in business analysis, financial operations, payment validation, reconciliation, controls, or audit support
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Excel

Responsibilities

• Validate payments and reconcile invoices for the Pharmacy portfolio
• Coordinate approvals and investigate discrepancies
• Track funding activity and maintain process documentation
• Support audit readiness and timely execution of payments
