Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Business Analyst, Experience to join the Pharmacy Finance Support team. You will manage day-to-day pharmacy funding and administrative invoice operations by validating payments and coordinating approvals.

You will research discrepancies, track funding activity, maintain accurate process documentation, and collaborate with Finance, Data Analytics, external vendors, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure financial controls and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefit claims and pharmacy operations.
• Experience in business analysis, financial operations, payment validation, reconciliation, controls, or audit support.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies and maintain accurate financial tracking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
