Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician for a part-time role in Charlotte, NC. The technician will prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and package under pharmacist verification, while maintaining an organized workspace and ensuring regulatory compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma, state pharmacy technician license, and preferred long-term care experience. The position may require varying shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state regulations.
• Previous long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to work at a moderate speed and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelves for daily orders.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and timely under supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycling per procedure.
• Pack materials and stock as needed during low-volume times.
• Maintain clean/organized workstation and replenish stock.
