Polaris Pharmacy Services of North Carolina in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.

The role includes picking, labeling, scanning, and final verification, while maintaining an organized workspace and complying with regulations. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred and licensure is required by state rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licences/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelves for prep.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to the pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and other government guidelines.
• Maintain clean/organized workstation and replenish stock each shift.
• Alert the pharmacist on duty of any improper scanning.
• Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Overtime/holidays/weekends may be required.
• Other duties as assigned; variations by business needs.
