Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and finalize orders under the pharmacist's verification. This role supports a well-organized workspace and regulatory compliance across our care sites.

The position requires a high school diploma, state-registered pharmacy tech credentials, and prior long-term care experience is a plus. Multiple shifts, open environments, and path for career growth are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas for prescriptions.
• Accurate final preparation check before presenting to pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Process returned drugs and follow disposal procedures.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications and label/stock during low-volume times.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA and all regulations; maintain clean workspaces.
• Notify pharmacist of any scanning issues; support shift needs.
