Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and proper disposal.
• Assist in pre-packing medications; label and stock as needed.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA and other regulations.
