Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, including picking, labeling, scanning, and final preparation for pharmacist verification. The role supports efficiency and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

This position offers night and overnight shifts, with responsibilities across picking, stocking, and ensuring accuracy before pharmacist verification. Prior LTC experience is a plus, and a state license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and other storage areas (pre-pack racks).
• Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to the pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Follow HIPAA and government regulations; maintain clean/organized workstation.
