Polaris Pharmacy Services of North Carolina LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, including picking, labeling, scanning, and final preparation for pharmacist verification.

The role supports a well-organized workspace and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Night and overnight shifts are available, with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Verify final preparation accuracy before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and disposal per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications and label/stock as needed.
• Package materials manually.
• Comply with HIPAA and government regulations.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and replenish supplies.
• Notify pharmacist of any scanning issues.
• Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
