Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in compounding and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposal per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low-volume times.
• Package materials and products manually; maintain clean, organized workstation.
• Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulations; alert pharmacist on scanning issues.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required; other duties as assigned.
