Encompass Health is seeking a Pharmacy Director to lead the pharmacy department, ensuring safe and efficient provision of services and guiding a team with advanced equipment and technology. You will work closely with hospital leadership to optimize operations and maintain high standards of patient care.

The role requires a PharmD degree, state licensure, and supervisory experience, with a focus on antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety, and compliance across local and national regulations.

• Leadership and supervision experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to oversee pharmacy operations and staff performance.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee pharmacy department operations, including scheduling and process improvements.
• Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on budgets and resource planning.
• Lead hospital committees such as Pharmacy and Therapeutics, QA, and Safety.
