Encompass Health in Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Director to ensure the safe and efficient provision of pharmacy services, lead a skilled team, and leverage cutting-edge equipment and technology to support high-quality patient care.

This role requires a pharmacy degree, active licensure, and at least two years of supervisory experience. You will oversee operations, manage budgets, participate in committees, and uphold regulatory standards in a dynamic hospital environment.

Formación

• Pharmacy degree from US-accredited program or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Licensed in good standing by State Pharmacy Board.

Responsabilidades

• Convey the mission and motivate staff to develop capabilities.
• Oversee the pharmacy department operations, including scheduling and process improvements.
• Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care.
• Maintain competence in clinical hospital pharmacy practices and medication safety.
• Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate on budgeting for staffing, drugs, and supplies.
• Lead hospital committees such as Quality Assurance and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
