Qualifications

• Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board where the hospital is located.
• Pharmacy degree from a US-accredited program or international program evaluated as equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Convey the hospital mission to staff and hold them accountable for performance.
• Oversee pharmacy department operations including scheduling and process improvements.
• Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care.
• Maintain competence in clinical pharmacy practices including antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
• Collaborate with controllers to prepare and manage departmental budgets.
• Lead hospital committees such as Quality Assurance and Pharmacy & Therapeutics.
