This role demands strong leadership and strategic collaboration with hospital leadership. You will manage budgets for staffing, drugs, and supplies, stay current with evidence-based treatments, and participate in key hospital committees

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from a US-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pharmacy department's operations, including scheduling and performance assessments.
• Provide direct patient and pharmaceutical care while ensuring safety and quality.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to prepare and manage departmental budgets for staffing, drugs, and supplies.
• Lead committee work (Quality Assurance, Formulary, Pharmacy and Therapeutics as needed) and drive process improvements.
• Educate staff on pharmaceutical care and maintain regulatory compliance across local, state, and national guidelines.
