Primary Health Care Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Director to lead PHC's ambulatory pharmacy operations in Des Moines and surrounding areas, including Ames and Marshalltown. This is a comprehensive leadership role overseeing staffing, dispensing, counseling, and medication safety.

You will manage the annual budget, ensure formulary compliance and 340B program integrity, drive quality improvement, regulatory adherence, staff development, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Iowa (Pharmacist license).
• Pharm.D. degree from ACPE-accredited program or Iowa Board-approved equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Staff PHC Pharmacy locations; lead and develop staff, interns, and students; manage productivity and coaching.
• Oversee dispensing of medications; counsel patients and practitioners on interactions, dosages, and side effects; advise on substitutions.
• Oversee formulary compliance, drug procurement, inventory, storage, and record keeping; manage 340B program operations.
