Job summary

Citizens Medical Center seeks a Pharmacy Director to oversee all clinical, operational, and administrative functions of the inpatient and employee-retail pharmacy. The role includes strategic planning, budget oversight, 340B program management, and regulatory compliance to support safe patient care.

Lead a team, drive medication safety initiatives, and collaborate with hospital leadership to align services with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Requires: Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: PharmD or MBA degree.
• Experience: Five (5) years of clinical pharmacy leadership with team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient and employee-retail pharmacy operations.
• Develop departmental goals aligned with hospital mission.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff; schedule staffing as needed.
• Collaborate with administration and medical staff to ensure safe patient care.
