Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of data entry experience.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred, PTCB certification preferred.
• Proficient with pharmacy software and able to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls from prescribers, nurses, and facilities and route to the proper department.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and addressing inquiries.
• Maintain email and organize workflows for streamlined operations.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks, including processing prescriptions and handling errors.
• Process a minimum of 200 prescriptions per day / 25–30 per hour.
• Handle billing claims and insurance information for prescriptions.
• Liaise with pharmacists to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications.
• Receive prescriptions electronically, via fax, or over the phone and enter into the system.
