Job summary

MedWiz is seeking a Data Entry Technician in Woodridge, IL to ensure seamless prescription processing and clear communication with prescribers and healthcare teams. You will triage calls, organize emails, and perform precise data entry within tight timelines.

The role requires 1–3 years of data entry experience, familiarity with pharmacy software, and a commitment to accuracy and multitasking in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of data entry experience.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred; PTCB certification preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and pharmacy software such as EMAR, Pyxis Medbank, Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls from prescribers, nurses and facilities and route to the appropriate department.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and handling inquiries.
• Enter prescriptions accurately and process billing information and rejections.
• Maintain organized emails and workspaces to support efficient operations.
• Process at least 200 prescriptions per day to meet efficiency goals.
