Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to enter prescriptions into our pharmacy operating system with speed and accuracy. You will triage prescriptions, verify notes, and support cycle fills while delivering top-level service.

Role requires data entry experience in long-term or managed care settings, a high school diploma or GED, and state certification as a technician. We value detail-oriented teammates who thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification (state requirements). National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 3+ years related experience including at least 6 months data entry in long-term or managed care setting.
• Proficient in pharmacy systems including document imaging and legacy operating systems.
• Knowledge of Brand Name/Generic meds and Sig codes.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescription.
• Provide courteous customer responses and route calls for top-level service.
• Complete assigned prescriptions within regular shift and follow up with doctors’ offices on refills.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues using pharmacy systems.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflow in data entry.
