Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration is required by state; national certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions for timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route calls as appropriate.
• Meet delivery deadlines and maintain data entry records for cycle medication orders.
