Guardian Mid-South Pharmacy in Bartlett, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our fast-paced team. You will enter and process prescriptions, communicate with customers, and support pharmacy operations with speed and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, state licensing or registration, and 2+ years of related experience; national certification (PTCB) is preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required by state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Maintain proper notes and cycle fill coding in the computer.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care, routing as needed for top service.
• Complete assigned prescriptions within regular shift.
• Communicate with doctors' offices on refills and follow up.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems and document imaging.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order processing as needed.
