East Tennessee Pharmacy Services in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. You will enter prescriptions into the operating system, triage faxes, verify dosages, and provide top-level customer service by phone.

This role offers a rotating schedule and a $2500 potential bonus for Frameworks LTC experience, with bonus paid after one year. We provide comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required per state guidelines.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required per state.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify dosage calculations and proper notes in the system.
• Communicate with customers by phone and provide courteous service.
• Ensure all prescriptions assigned for processing are completed within shift.
• Follow up with doctors' offices on refills as needed.
