Job summary

WellSense Health Plan is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Data Analyst in Boston to lead data analytics for the Pharmacy Department. You will architect data models, build enterprise dashboards, and guide regulatory submissions with a strong emphasis on data integrity and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires deep expertise in SAS, SQL, Excel, and BI tools, with at least 5 years in healthcare and 10 years in health insurance or PBMs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience analyzing pharmacy claims data, formulary utilization, and drug cost trends.
• Familiarity with Medicare Part D data, STAR measures, and PDE submissions.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills; experience with Tableau/Power BI for dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a centralized dashboard for pharmacy metrics.
• Lead regulatory reporting development, validation, and submission with vendor partners.
• Analyze data queries to monitor Medicare STAR and quality initiatives.
• Oversee PBM submissions of Part D claims to CMS and ensure data accuracy.
