Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Data Analyst for Logistics in Pharmacy. The role focuses on maintaining databases for automated dispensing systems and coordinating with Epic and IT resources.

The successful candidate will oversee staff training, monitor medication usage, and develop workflows to improve efficiency. A NYS Pharmacy Technician License and 2–3 years in hospital pharmacy with automation are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT-Adv).
New York State Pharmacy Technician License.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
2–3 years hospital pharmacy experience with two or more automation systems.

Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain automated dispensing systems databases (Epic coordination).
Maintain user databases and enforce staffing/interdepartmental policies.
Monitor controlled substance circulation for possible diversion.
Design workflows to maximize automated dispensing efficiency and train staff.
Manage restock requests and update databases per medication availability.
