Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk seeks an Analyst, Performance Analytics in Hospital Operations. This role collects, enters and interprets data across multiple platforms, maintains databases and generates reports to support quality improvement.

You will develop KPIs for dashboards, assist the quality department on improvement projects, and use tools like Tableau, Epic reporting, and Vizient CDB/RM. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, healthcare analytics, public health or related field.
1–2 years healthcare analytics.
Excellent written and oral communication, detail orientation, customer service, organization, and multitasking.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned.
Support performance/operational dashboards in Tableau. Run reports from Vizient CDBRM, Clinical Database Resource Manager and ODB; refresh monthly/weekly.
Prepare meeting materials for quality improvement committees and provide data analysis to help interpretation.
Write reports in Epic reporting workbench and utilize Epic Clarity reports to meet end user needs.
Act as a resource to Quality and Process Improvement groups; provide statistical/analytical support and project management using LEAN concepts.
Coordinate external surveys (US News & World Report Best Hospitals, AHA, Leapfrog) and advise on how to improve standings.
Assist with daily departmental systems operations and provide ongoing technical support.
