Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Data Analyst for Logistics – Pharmacy to join the Suffolk team. This role collaborates with Epic and automation systems to optimize dispensing workflows and inventory management, supporting safe and efficient pharmaceutical operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or CPhT-Adv, NYS license, and 2–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience with automation. This on-site position provides opportunities in informatics and process improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT-Adv).
New York State Pharmacy Technician License.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
2-3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy or equivalent with two or more automation systems.

Responsibilities

Creates, updates, and maintains automated dispensing systems databases in coordination with Epic.
Monitors controlled substance circulation for possible diversion.
Develops programs/workflows to maximize efficiencies of the automated dispensing process.
Generates reports and trends of medication use from Automated Dispensing Machines and forwards them for action.
Assists in maintenance of databases for pharmacy systems including packaging devices, inventory control devices, RFID devices and bar code programs.
Oversees informatics processes in the absence of the Manager, Pharmacy Informatics and Operations.
