Red Rock Pharmacy in Springville, UT is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inbound/outbound calls, assist patients with prescription questions, and support daily pharmacy operations.

You will verify demographics, insurance details, and prescription data while coordinating with pharmacists and providers to ensure timely, accurate service. High-quality communication and adherence to HIPAA are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and place outbound calls professionally.
• Assist patients, caregivers, and providers with prescription inquiries.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance and prescription details.
• Coordinate with pharmacists and techs to resolve issues.
• Document interactions and maintain records in the pharmacy system.
• Resolve concerns with prompt, accurate, compassionate solutions.
• Process refill requests and route clinical questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient health information.
• Meet performance standards for quality, productivity, and satisfaction.
• Perform other admin and customer service duties as needed.
