Red Rock Pharmacy in Springville, Utah is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for full-time or part-time hours. You will receive, process, and prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, verify counts, label medications, process refills, and assist customers while maintaining patient records and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active Utah Pharmacy Technician license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification.
• Accurately count, package, label, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Process refills, maintain patient records, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist customers with prescription pickups, general questions, and directing clinical concerns to pharmacists.
• Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and collect payments.
• Manage medication inventory, including shipments, stocking, expiration checks, and supply orders.
• Follow federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations, including controlled substance procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
• Operate pharmacy software, dispensing equipment, and related technology.
• Communicate with pharmacists, providers, and patients to support quality care.
• Protect patient confidentiality and perform additional duties as needed.
